Privacy Policy

Last updated July 13, 2026. This is a draft prepared pre-launch and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It describes what AImly actually does today; it will be revised before general availability.

Who we are

AImly ("AImly", "we", "us") provides an X (Twitter) growth tool: a free account audit, and paid plans that add X account connection, competitor and topic tracking ("growth radar"), AI-drafted posts written in your voice, and post scheduling. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.

What we collect

Account audit (no login): the public X handle you enter and the public posting data we fetch for it. We don't require an account or store personal identifying information to run an audit.

Account data: your email and authentication details, managed via Supabase, when you create an AImly account.

X account data: if you connect your X account, we receive OAuth tokens and access your posts, engagement metrics, and related account data through the X API, as described below.

Billing data: plan and subscription status. Payment processing (including your card details) is handled entirely by Paddle, our merchant of record - we do not receive or store your card number.

Content you create: competitors/topics you choose to track, and drafts you write, edit, approve, or schedule in the app.

X account data, specifically

When you connect your X account via OAuth, we store your access tokens encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). We use them to:

  • Read your post history and analytics to generate your audit, growth radar insights, and voice-matched AI drafts.
  • Fetch data about competitor accounts and topics you choose to track.
  • Publish posts or scheduled drafts to your X account - but only when you have granted explicit, active consent to do so (see below). We never post or schedule anything on your behalf without it.

You can revoke this consent at any time in the app, and you can disconnect your X account, which stops us from accessing it going forward.

AI processing

To draft posts in your voice, we send a sample of your own X post history to an AI model (Anthropic's Claude, accessed through an AI Gateway) to generate suggested drafts. Drafts are never posted automatically - you review, edit, and explicitly approve (post now or schedule) every piece of content before it goes out. We use this data solely to generate your drafts, not to train AI models.

Third parties we share data with

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run AImly:

  • Supabase - authentication and application database (Postgres).
  • Paddle - billing, subscription management, and payment processing (Paddle acts as merchant of record).
  • X (Twitter) API - to read your posts/analytics and, with your consent, publish posts on your behalf.
  • AI Gateway / Anthropic - to generate AI-drafted posts from your writing samples.

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with data brokers. We use limited advertising conversion tracking to measure how well our marketing campaigns perform - this only signals that a purchase happened, and doesn't include your name, email, or phone number.

Data retention

We retain your account data, connected X tokens, tracked competitors/topics, and drafts for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your paid access is removed immediately (canceling doesn't downgrade you to a free tier - there isn't one). If you delete your account, we delete your stored data, including encrypted X tokens, within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain billing records for legal or accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data, and disconnect or revoke X access, at any time from the app or by emailing support@tryaimly.com. We'll respond to deletion and access requests promptly.

Cookies

We use cookies set by Supabase to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We also run a conversion-tracking script that may set advertising cookies, used only to measure the performance of our own marketing campaigns - not to build cross-site profiles about you or target you with ads elsewhere.

Children's privacy

AImly is not directed at children, and you must be at least 13 years old (and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction) to use it. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll update the "last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify active users.
